ELSIE MORDEN ALBUM
"You can now order a physical copy of my debut, full length album online! The proceeds go towards my charity's “No Time for That” Tour.
I wrote all 10 songs myself and also co-produced the album. It's 100% Canadian made. I want you to get to know me not only as an artist, but as a person too. These songs are about my life and I'm so happy that you are a part of it."

SMALL TOWN CANADA
"While touring in Manitoba, I went back to the town that I grew up in for the majority of my life: Graysville, MB. The total population was under 100 people.
Living here made me who I am and it led me to where I am now - pursuing country music and running a charity about bullying prevention, mental health awareness, and youth empowerment.
I am from a small town, but I have big dreams.
I wrote the song "Behind Those Trees" about when I first moved to Graysville. It was the perfect song to use for the video.
One of the main focuses of my "No Time for That" Tour, is to visit rural communities that have limited resources and that normally don't get presenters or performers in. I'm so happy to be visiting small towns across Canada free of charge.
Thank you Country Liberty for putting the spotlight on small towns and the people from them!"

"I'm so incredibly inspired after attending Canadian Country Music Week in Saskatoon. I went by myself, which I was really nervous about at first, but I ended up having the best time. The CCMA family is so kind, encouraging, and supportive - I'm so happy to be a part of it!! My heart is so full. I'm thankful to have spent time with old friends and thankful to have made so many new friends. I can't wait to see everyone again soon! I tried to attend every seminar including my favourite ones, "Mental Health and the Music Industry" and "Women in the Music Industry", and watched every performance that I possibly could - my favourite event was "In the Round: Crossing Borders" which featured some of the top country songwriters telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them, I explored Saskatoon, and I was fortunate to perform in the "Diamonds in the Rough" Showcase. I learned so much and am motivated more than ever to be a better songwriter, entertainer, singer, musician, speaker, businesswoman, and person. Thank you Canadian Country Music Association. Also, thank you Canaan Country Festival - the prize money that I won from the Canaan Country Horizon Artist Contest was the reason I was able to attend. " - Elsie Morden

1ST ANNUAL COUNTRY MUSIC BENEFIT CONCERTS
Every person has the potential to offer something great to their community and to the world, which is why it’s so important to not let bullying and the stigma surrounding mental illness prevent them from making a positive contribution.

So far, Elsie Morden and “No Time for That” Tour have visited 500 schools across Canada. There is still no cost charged to schools, as we do not want costs to be a barrier for any student to see this powerful presentation. All proceeds from this benefit concert will ensure that the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society’s “No Time for That” Tour can continue to visit Canadian schools free of charge.
The unique and intimate evening of celebration will highlight the importance of what the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society does and showcase the amazing and overwhelming response that the charity has received so far. Award winning songwriters from each province will provide the night’s entertainment, including country artist Elsie Morden, the charity’s founder.
There will be appetizers, a silent auction, a live auction, raffle prizes, a purely Canadian music trivia contest by voice impressionist/musician Kenny Byrka and many other fabulous fundraising opportunities.
We are currently seeking special sponsors to be a part of these events. We would like to personally invite you to make a difference and help the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society continue to change the lives of Canadian youth.

"Music is so powerful and it has the amazing ability to heal. I think that's definitely why I turned to music and songwriting. Songwriting is very therapeutic for me. I love the way that you can tell a story through songs and express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions so that it's relatable to the listener. Music saved my life and I hope that my music can do the same for others. Thank you SOCAN for all that you do for songwriters like myself." - Elsie Morden

A MESSAGE FROM ELSIE
MY DEBUT FULL LENGTH ALBUM IS OUT NOW. Thank you to everyone who has already bought it!!! I have been working so hard on this, I'm soooo excited for you to hear it!!! I wrote all 10 songs myself and also co-produced the album. I want you to get to know me not only as an artist, but as a person too. These songs are about my life and I'm so happy that you are a part of it. First and foremost I want to thank my family and friends: Kenny Byrka, Kathy Lynn Byrka, Mallory Byrka, Victoria Byrka, Emil and Elsie Byrka, Judy Mary, Marlene Byrka, Anisha Kiran, Brittney Shadday, Ethan Melle, Chad Kuzyk, Jen Kostuchuk, Elizabeth Kenyon, Chantelle Hildebrand, and so many more for your support. Thank you Tanya and Jessy Friesen, and Louise Shachtay for hiring me to work for you even though I couldn't make it half the time and had the most inconsistent hours - if it wasn't for you allowing me to make my own hours, I wouldn't have been able to record this album. Thank you Scott Clements for believing in me and my music enough to bring it to radio - "Be Mine" cracked the top 100 BDS Canadian country radio chart last month. Thank you Images by Mark Alberto for doing the "Be Mine" single photography. Thank you Pam Godfredsen Photography for knowing the perfect place to take the album pictures - love them! The album is 100% Canadian made and I'm really proud of that. Thank you to all of the amazing people that contributed their talents. The album was recorded at Exchange District Studios and Private Ear Recording with Shawn Dealey - there are no words to express how grateful I am to you Shawn for everything that you did for me to make this album possible, you work so hard and you are so kind, and Finn is the cutest. Thank you Shawn. The musicians and artists that are on this album brought my songs to life in the most beautiful way. EASIER SAID THAN DONE MUSIC VIDEO
The official music video for Easier Said Than Done by Elsie Morden.
"I always used to be so concerned with what people thought of me and I was so afraid to be myself. Most of the time I didn’t tell anyone how I felt because I didn’t want to be rejected, in any way. This video demonstrates that insecurity that I dealt with growing up. I have now learned that those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind. So don’t hold back your thoughts, feelings, or emotions because you might never get the chance to say them. Life is short, you never know when it might be yours, or someone’s last day, so don’t hesitate to live your life to the fullest and love wholeheartedly.
Texting and driving, or any sort of distracted driving for that matter is SO dangerous. People need to stop. They are putting their life and other lives at risk, and I’ve heard about so many people that have been killed or severely hurt in accidents involving texting recently. Some of them are people that I know or knew. This is not okay. Don’t text and drive, and don’t drive under the influence.
I really want people to feel something when they watch this video." - Elsie Morden
